Access 2 Gmail accounts at once

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

This might be helpful but I don’t know if I’ll ever remember to do it this way… We’ll see.

Now, you can visit google.com/accounts and click the link next to “Multiple sign-in.” After you sign into your first account, you can sign in with up to two additional accounts from the new accounts menu in the upper right hand corner of Gmail, then easily toggle back and forth between them. You can even open multiple Gmail tabs — one for each of your accounts.

Duplicate Contacts in Gmail

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Managing a big address book can be a challenge, so it i;s no surprise that the top request for Google contacts is a fast, easy way to merge duplicate contacts. You have been able to merge contacts one-by-one for a while, but now we have added a single button that merges all your duplicate contacts at once. To clean up your contact list in one fell swoop, just click the “Find duplicates” button in the contact manager, review the merge suggestions (and uncheck any suggestions you do not want merged), and hit the “Merge” button.
